2013 Sears Great Canadian Run – Event Info

GoodGuysTri is pleased to announce their return to the Sears Great Canadian Run for 2013 … a 100km run from Ottawa, ON to Montebello, QC with the goal of raising funds & awareness for kids cancer (donate here). Following their incredible 100km solo run in 2012 (which raised nearly $13,500), GoodGuysTri went in search of a way to push the envelope even further for 2013 … and we think we’ve found it!

Bigger, Better & More Inspiring!

On October 5th, 2013, GoodGuysTri is heading back to the Sears Great Canadian Run, but this time we’re doing it bigger, better and hoping to make even more of an impact! While most participants of this event are competing as members of relay teams (with each member running a small portion of the total 100 kilometres), GGT is entering a TEAM of 100km solo runners, where each team member will run the entire 100km. Team GoodGuysTri is looking to send a massive message that TOGETHER WE CAN OVERCOME ANY OBSTACLE – EVEN KIDS CANCER!

We Need Your Support

Our goals are simple:

  • Raise over $25,000 for KIDS CANCER
  • Have all team members run the entire 100km, from start to finish, TOGETHER as a TEAM
  • Bring awareness, hope and support for the real heroes … THE KIDS

But we can’t do it alone … we need your support! Please join GoodGuysTri in our fight against kids cancer by donating today (tax receipts issued for amounts of $20 or greater). Every little bit collected will help make a difference in the lives of these children.

For the businesses out there looking to get involved while promoting your brand, become a corporate sponsor and receive a variety of promotional benefits (dependant on sponsorship level selected). Whether through sponsorship dollars or donations of products/services, corporate sponsorship will provide your business great promotional opportunities, great visibility and a tax receipt.

Don’t forget to follow our team’s journey on October 5th as we cover a total of 2200km via our Race Day Live Tracking page.
